The road in Árneshrepp is closed because of a landslide that fell in Kaldbaksvík. In the announcement from the municipality on Facebook, it is said that the road is closed and will at best be impassable after the Vegagerðin opens it. "There is still a lot of rain in the weather forecast so it is not safe to travel in and out of the countryside. Follow the Vegagerðinnar's website if you want to travel," says the announcement.
