Two new candidates for Select Board, Amanda Zimmerman and Anthony Buono, ousted incumbent John VanScoyoc in Tuesday’s local Brookline election.  VanScoyoc, 77, a retired journalist and long-time Brookline politician, was running for his third term and was the top getter in his last election in 2023.
