COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The United States Geological Survey confirmed an earthquake was felt near Lake Murray overnight. Officials say the 2.1 magnitude earthquake about 3.5 miles South-southeast of Lake Murray around 2:32 a.m. USGS says this is the fifth earthquake reported since a 3.0 earthquake hit two miles from Lexington last month.
