The US Department of State has approved the sale of 48 M142 HIMARS launchers to Australia. In addition to the launchers, the package will also include M1084A2 ammunition wagons, M1095 trailers, LCRRPR (Low Cost Reduced Range Practice Rocket) training missiles, internal communication systems, radios and their assembly kits, spare parts and service.
