L3Harris Technologies has been awarded a contract to deliver its VAMPIRE (Vehicle-Agnostic Modular Palletized ISR Rocket Equipment) counter-unmanned system to the U.S. Navy for littoral defense against drone threats.
According to the American company L3Harris Technologies, the U.S. Navy has chosen the VAMPIRE anti-aircraft complex to be integrated into the overall drone threat control system: VAMPIRE is a flexible and effective system that meets the unique requirements of the U.S. Navy to protect against drones in the coastal zone.
