The United States and Mexico agreed to initiate formal talks for the first joint review of the trade treaty between these two countries and Canada (T-MEC), as reported by the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office (USTR). “Both sides recognized substantial progress in recent months and agreed to continue intensive collaboration to address non-tariff barriers,” is reflected in the USTR statement.
