US bank executive accused of treating worker as a 'sex slave'
JPMorgan says an internal probe found no evidence for the claims as the plaintiff seeks back pay, front pay and damages for alleged abuse.
- On May 4, Chirayu Rana refiled a sexual harassment lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase executive Lorna Hajdini in the New York County Supreme Court, alleging she coerced him into non-consensual acts beginning in 2024.
- Rana alleges Hajdini, an executive director at JPMorgan Chase, forced him to be a "sex slave" and drugged him—claims the bank and Hajdini maintain are completely fabricated.
- Hajdini "categorically denies the allegations," her lawyers stated, while JPMorgan's internal investigation found no merit to the claims after Rana refused to participate in the probe.
- The Post reported that Rana allegedly lied to the bank about his father's death to claim paid bereavement leave, which he reportedly used to prepare the lawsuit.
- Initially filed April 27, the lawsuit was pulled for "correction" before being resubmitted on May 4 with anonymous witness statements to support the complaint seeking back and front pay.
