Union Pacific's Living Legend No. 844 is returning to the rails after a 6-year hiatus, teaming with Big Boy No. 4014 for a Colorado holiday tour and Denver stop.
The legendary steam locomotive number 844, owned by Union Pacific, is preparing to make a public trip for the first time since 2019. On November 21, locomotive number 844, along with steam locomotive number 4014, known as Big Boy, will travel from Greeley to Denver. Proceeds from the expedition will be transferred to the Make-A-Wish charity. The Union Pacific announced on October 5, 1944.
