In the EU, there were 13.516 million unemployed, more 296,000 people than in July 2025. In Portugal, the unemployment rate stood at 5.7% in July this year, below 5.8% in the same month of 2025.
July closed with 320,000 unemployed people in Portugal. Unemployment rate is the same as in the previous month, but slightly lower than it was a year ago.
