Today, at the Government, Minister of Economy and Innovation Edvinas Grikšas and a representative of the Ukrainian defense sector company DEMZ signed a major investment agreement for a new ammunition factory in Lithuania. This investment will create up to 450 jobs in Alytus and the Prienai district.

Ukrainian defense industry company Dnipro Electromechanical Plant (DEMZ) will create a regional production and innovation center in Lithuania. The company will build an ammunition assembly shop in the Prienai district and produce metal ammunition parts in the Alytus Industrial Park.
