European officials say that Ukraine's potential accession to the EU by January 1, 2027, which, according to media, appears in the latest draft peace proposal, is unrealistic.
Ukraine could become a member of the European Union by 2027, in line with a proposal discussed in the US-based negotiations.
Ukraine must pay a huge price if it wants peace with Russia. Donald Trump has demanded that Kiev withdraw completely from the Donbas region, which will be transformed into a neutral zone.
