Russian drone hits central Kyiv killing a child, injuring at least seven people, Ukrainian officials say
Police said the strike injured at least seven residents and left one child in serious condition as fires broke out in the capital.

- Emergency services reported that separate overnight attacks caused fires in non-residential buildings in two city districts. One person was also injured in the capital, according to officials.
- Separately, Odesa region governor Oleh Kiper said one person was killed and another injured in a series of "massive" Russian strikes on a residential area and logistics premises.
- The Russian defence ministry said on Friday its forces carried out overnight drone strikes on Ukrainian defence industry facilities, logistics centres, and vessels. Russia maintains it does not target civilians.
