Iran has taken over the phones and other devices of journalists and opponents of the regime in Tehran using malicious software, warns the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD). The service recently discovered the ‘Chosen Brick’ malware together with British colleagues and is now raising the alarm together with the British NCSC and the American FBI.
