UGC-NET Results Announced for 84 Subjects; over 4,000 Qualify for JRF
- The National Testing Agency declared UGC-NET June 2026 Results for 84 subjects on Friday, with candidates now able to view Results and Score Cards on the official UGC-NET website.
- NTA ordered a Re-Exam for English, Commerce, and Sociology after an expert committee identified factual, typographical, and grammatical errors within those three question papers.
- Candidates can download Score Cards from the official UGC-NET website using application numbers and dates of birth. The examination determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor, and PhD programs.
- NTA will conduct the Re-Exam for English on September 9 in Shift 1, Commerce on September 9 in Shift 2, and Sociology on September 10 in Shift 1. Candidates will not pay additional examination fees.
- Assistant Professor eligibility will be determined by 6% of candidates who appeared in either the UGC-NET June 2026 examination or the Re-Exam, whichever produces a higher number. Examination city and centre details will be notified separately.
