- The GCAA confirmed the decision followed comprehensive assessment of security conditions, stating, "Following a comprehensive evaluation of operational and security conditions, we have officially lifted the temporary precautionary measures previously in place."
- Neighboring nations including Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, and Syria had previously lifted similar restrictions after the United States and Iran agreed to a ceasefire, easing regional travel disruptions.
- While the truce remains in effect, the GCAA will continue real-time monitoring to ensure the highest levels of aviation safety for all travelers in the region.
