Due to the approach of Typhoon No. 18, Japan Airlines (JAL) Group announced on the 25th that it would cancel a total of 168 flights, including those connecting Naha, Miyako, and Ishigaki, over the two days of the 25th and 26th. An estimated 17,361 people are expected to be affected.
