A large-scale search operation has been initiated.
Research has been underway since Wednesday evening, October 1, 2025 off Port Camargue at Grau-du-Roi (Gard) to find a promenade fishing star and her two occupants, aged 34 and 38. Research operations, which were interrupted during the night, resumed this Thursday morning in the Mediterranean.
Yesterday, at the end of the afternoon, the disappearance of a pleasure ship with two fishermen on board was reported. Two boaters left from the Grau du Roi on Wednesday, October 1st did not return from their trip to the sea. Rescuers of the SNSM of the Hérault and the Gard have been mobilized for nearly 15 hours to find them.
