- U.S. personnel were conducting a key leader engagement supporting counter-ISIS and counterterrorism operations as part of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division.
- Medical updates show two seriously injured soldiers were flown to Jordanian air base hospital, one injury was superficial and evacuated back to base, and Gen. Stephen Osborn said they are stable in critical condition but improving.
