Two Injured in Fire at Apartment Building in El Sereno Area

Two people were injured in a fire Sunday at a two-story apartment building in the El Sereno community of Los Angeles, authorities said. Firefighters dispatched at 4:18 a.m. Sunday to 4136 E. Abner St., a couple blocks south of Ascot Hills Park, had the fire out within 34 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. The fire involved two units and the attic space.
