Two further arrests over death of man in suspected shooting
Police said the two suspects, aged 29 and 44, were arrested as detectives continued to investigate a suspected firearm killing.
On Friday, Police Scotland arrested two men, aged 29 and 44, in connection with the death of Billy Watson, 35, in Armadale on Harestanes Road.
A 57-year-old man was charged yesterday and is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court today, marking the first suspect in custody as the investigation expands.
Detectives are investigating four individuals seen in the area and tracing two suspected getaway vehicles: a blue BMW and a black Vauxhall Mokka, plus a vehicle fire in Netherhouses.
Detective Superintendent Michelle Findlay stated the incident was a "targeted attack," emphasizing the force is "continuing to offer Billy's family support" as inquiries continue.
An increased police presence remains in Armadale to reassure the community, and witnesses can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 with any information.
