Gabriel Ansiaume, a renowned winemaker from Mendoza, lost his life in an accident while descending in rappelling in the Mont Blanc massif, France. His colleague, also from Argentina, was seriously injured and is hospitalized.
Gabriel Ansiaume, 39, died as he climbed the Aiguille du Peigne, in Chamonix, 3,192 metres. His partner survived and had to be operated on in a hospital in Alta Savoy.
