Tennessee plans to create Club America chapters at every high school to promote patriotism, following a surge in interest after founder Charlie Kirk's death in September.
- On Dec. 12, 2025, Tennessee Republican leaders announced a partnership with Turning Point USA to establish Club America chapters statewide, with U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn and State Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson speaking at the Tennessee State Capitol and a 30-minute Rumble video posted.
- Club America, Turning Point USA's high-school program, launched this year to spread patriotism, grew after Riley Gaines proposed the idea at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in November.
- Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson announced the alliance with U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn and Josh Thifault, warning administrators resistance risks legal action, while a state spokesperson said no funding has been allocated.
- David Kanervo, retired political science professor at Austin Peay State University, said, `Public education is supposed to be nondenominational,` amid disciplinary fallout affecting over 600 Americans, including Monica Meeks, who filed a federal lawsuit for her firing.
- Turning Point USA, based in Arizona, operates thousands of chapters nationwide, and Josh Thifault said he aims for 20,000 Club America chapters, following partnerships in Texas and Florida.
