An agreement has been reached to sell 70 percent of Espressolab's shares to the United Arab Emirates-based Mair Group. In order for the sale to be completed, approval is required from regulatory bodies in Turkey and the UAE.
EspressoLab, the coffee chain that was at the top of the boycott list announced by then-CHP leader Özgür Özel following the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality operations on March 19, 2025, has been sold to the UAE-based Mair Group. While the sale price was not disclosed, regulatory approvals are required to finalize the deal.
