- Earlier on Saturday, Houthis targeted "sensitive" sites in Riyadh with missiles and drones, prompting the trilateral pact between Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan to activate its collective defense framework.
- Speaking to broadcaster NTV, Fidan expressed "very strong will" behind the alliance and noted that military assistance would focus on specific technical issues, with headquarters deployment remaining the final step.
- Pakistan indicated no discussions regarding military reactions have occurred but added officials would act when the "time comes", while clarifying the pact does not replace existing alliances like NATO.
- President Donald Trump has previously rebuffed Saudi pleas for military support against the Houthis, while Fidan warned that under Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's policies, Israel faces growing isolation as a "threat to the world".
