Guidewire Introduces Qusar Release to Help Insurers Build and Control AI Agents
The release says the AI agent framework helps teams correlate signals across disconnected systems and speed fraud investigations.
On Monday, August 3, 2026, Guidewire launched its Qusar release, featuring the new Agentic Framework to help insurers build, deploy, and manage AI agents for uncovering hidden fraud signals across payment workflows.
Celent Executive Partner Karlyn Carnahan noted insurers require deep integration with core business processes rather than isolated experimentation. Guidewire Chief Product Development Officer Diego Devalle stated the framework addresses this by enabling developers to engineer insurance-aware agents safely.
The Qusar release includes Guidewire-built claims and underwriting agents plus Developer Assistants, which help teams deliver solutions more than 40% faster than generic coding assistants by combining AI with deep platform knowledge.
Garrett Anderson, Chief Information Officer at Automobile Club of Southern California, reported that Guidewire AI innovations help adjusters focus on high-value work by summarizing claims and streamlining key insurance workflows, improving efficiency.
More than 570 insurers in 43 countries rely on Guidewire products; with a record of 1,700+ successful projects, the company positions these AI tools as a foundation for future industry innovation in insurance operations.
