The global debate over artificial intelligence risks entered a new phase this week amid clashing views from tech executives over whether frontier labs should slow the development of the technology. Leaders of Anthropic, OpenAI, SpaceX and Google DeepMind put forward the need for self-regulation checks on growth that give AI models more control.
