It is amazing that our president can look us in the eye and spout empty platitudes about the murder of West Virginia National Guard member Sarah Beckstrom, ready and willing to blame anyone but himself and his vindictive actions for this young woman’s needless death, (“Suspect in shooting of National Guard members faces first-degree murder charge,” Nov. 28). She and her unit should never ever have been sent to Washington D.C. in the first place.
