- The administration introduced America.gov as a "single digital point of entry" to modernize federal services and replace paper-based systems, allowing citizens to handle government tasks entirely from home.
- Applicants will log in through login.gov to upload photos and pay online, removing the need for appointments or third-party services; the platform is slated to be operational by the end of 2027.
- Called "Flight of the Eagle," the 2028 passport features a prominent gold Great Seal and depicts American history through artwork including the American Revolution, Iwo Jima, and NASA's Artemis missions.
- Existing passports remain valid through their expiration dates, as the 2028 update reflects 250 years of American history while maintaining high security standards for international travel.
