Deep in the rainforest of Papua, Indonesia, there is a tribe that leads life to the heights. It is the Korowai, an indigenous group that builds their houses on top of trees, at heights that can reach 35 meters. These houses rise on robust trees, mostly figueiras (Ficus sp.), known locally as wanim.
