  • Five others were injured in the blaze, including the children's father who remains in intensive care with life-threatening injuries. Anadolu reported that four injured individuals share the victims' family names, while the fifth is the business owner.
  • Investigators are currently examining the cause and have arrested three people. Although the exact cause remains unclear, Sahin stated it appeared someone used a barbecue burner outside the containers without extinguishing it.
  • The tragedy occurred during the three-day Bayram holiday marking the end of Ramadan. Local leader Kaplan stated residents had repeatedly requested a fire station, saying, "We urgently need a fire station.
