The amnesty for the payment of traffic and AutoExpreso fines will begin on March 12, reported the president of the Transportation and Infrastructure Commission of the House of Representatives, José "Cheito" Hernández.
Drivers with payment plans in place before December 31 of last year will be able to settle their entire debt by applying the discount.
The chairman of the House of Representatives' Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, José ‘Cheito’ Hernández, announced that on March 12, the period begins to apply for a 40 percent discount on debts for administrative fines related to the AutoExpreso system, expired stickers, as well as other infractions under Law 22-2000 (Puerto Rico's Vehicle and Traffic Law).
