TRAFFIC ALERT: Charlotte County warns of construction in Englewood

Drivers in Englewood will want to give themselves a longer time for their commute, this week.Charlotte County Public Works reports Gasparilla Road near the Marathon Boulevard intersection will have lane closures 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Friday, Oct. 3 for ERS Construction to complete sidewalk repairs.The Public Works Department reminds drivers to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
