As the situation in the Middle East continues to be tense, question marks have been hanging over the final round of the World Rally Championship, the Rally Saudi Arabia. According to the DirtFish portal, the Toyota and Hyundai teams have announced that they will not travel to the Arabian country.

The two all-factory WRC teams, Toyota and Hyundai, have come up with a common position for the 2026 season finale, due to be held in Saudi Arabia in mid-November.

By a joint letter to the FIA from Toyota Gazoo Racing and Hyundai Motorsport, where the M-Sport team also joined forces, the three WRC Teams launched this season declared that they could not go to the WRC rally in Saudi Arabia in November. The reasons given are the logistical restrictions but also obviously due to the current geopolitical climate on the spot.
