The Iranian military announced a $30,000 reward for anyone who kills or captures and hands over US soldiers. Chief of Staff Amir Hatami stated that the reward would be doubled if the act was carried out by a woman, and called on the US to end its military presence in the region.
Amir Hatami, head of the regular Iranian army, not the Revolutionary Guards, has suspended a bounty of $30,000 for every US soldier killed or captured.
