Bad luck for Seff Van Kerckhove (18). He is forced to miss the World Cycling Championships in Canada after a collision during training, in which a car drove onto his driveway. He was unable to stand up on his own afterwards and was immediately taken to hospital, where at least several fractures in his vertebrae were diagnosed. Last year, as a first-year junior, Van Kerckhove won bronze in Rwanda.
