The Federal Administrative Court No. 1 did not accept the request for interim measures submitted by deputies Miguel Ángel Pichetto and Nicolás Massot. In addition, it gave the national government five days to give its arguments.
The argument of Pichetto and Massot was presented after the highest court overturned, on September 29, a ruling of the Federal Chamber of La Plata that had declared unconstitutional the repeal of the Land Law. Judge Alonso Regueira gave the government five days to establish a position. “As long as justice delays, these sales can be realized, with serious risk to the national heritage,” criticized Miguel Pichetto.
Judge Enrique Alonso Regueira dismissed the interim cautionary request made by Pichetto and Massot for not warning serious or impermissible circumstances. The Executive shall report before a final decision.
