Vendors at the Elmira Farmers’ Market are preparing for the May 2 season-opener of what will be the 23rd year for the popular venture.Founder Allan Martin said he is excited for the return of the market, which showcases local produce, baked goods and crafts.The market is returning to the parking lot at the Living Waters Book and Toy location on Church Street West.
