GroenLinks-PvdA, VVD, D66, and CDA want to conclude the formation talks around July 1 and present a new coalition agreement for the period 2026–2030. By then, the new team of aldermen must also be known. Informers Hanne van Aart and Roel van Gurp write this in a letter to the Tilburg municipal council.
The substantive formation talks between GroenLinks/PvdA, VVD, D66, and CDA started on May 5. The parties express the ambition to reach a coalition agreement around July 1 and, at the same time, have a new team of aldermen ready. Subsequently, the agreement, together with the proposed aldermen, must still be submitted to the municipal council.
