Five MCD officials have been suspended following the death of seven people in a building collapse in Delhi's Satya Niketan area. Three of these officials were also posted in the South Zone during the Hauz Rani incident in Malviya Nagar.
The PG owner, Hari Ram Bansal, has been arrested in Rajasthan. The Delhi government has suspended the MCD Deputy Commissioner and four engineers. The government has also ordered a magisterial inquiry.
