A sixth day of protests calling for a clean-up of the Romanian judiciary was expected on Monday, after thousands took to the streets of the capital Bucharest and other cities on Sunday to support judges and prosecutors denouncing systemic abuses.
On Friday evening, thousands of people, both from Bucharest and from large cities, continued to seek reform of the judicial system, discharges and resignations to the state's capital. Meanwhile, the Court's inspection announced that it was making checks on the state of the judicial system.
