Westlake High School lockdown lifted after possible threat
Westlake High School in Thousand Oaks was locked down Tuesday morning due to a possible safety threat. Details about the threat were not immediately available. Police responded the school at about 9:30 a.m. The lockdown was lifted later Tuesday morning. NBCLA has reached out to the school for more information.
The preventative closure of Westlake High School was lifted after receiving a generic threat this Tuesday, the Ventura Sheriff’s Department reported.
