Silver Dollar City Named America's #1 Christmas Event for ...

On Dec. 10, 2025, Silver Dollar City was named USA TODAY's Best Theme Park Holiday Event, marking a record eighth title for the park's holiday event.
A four-week national vote decided the ranking, overseen by USA TODAY voters, and pitted Silver Dollar City against major parks including Disneyland, Universal Studios and SeaWorld.
The park's installations include the Town Square tree with an eight-story LED-mapped, 360-degree display, Christmas in Midtown spanning 145 miles of lights, and The Grand Fir live tree with 30,000 lights.
The park is offering $30-off tickets online from Dec. 10–16 redeemable Dec. 18–Jan., and Season Passports remain on sale through Dec. 25.
Old Time Christmas, presented by Humana, features more than 6.5 million lights and live shows including Heart of Christmas starring Rhonda Vincent, Grand Ole Opry member, and A Dickens' Christmas Carol, with Rudolph's Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade in its final year.
