Suzuki Motor Corporation is set to revolutionise its operations by halving vehicle development times and significantly boosting efficiency by 2030, while committing to a diverse multi-powertrain strategy that includes BEVs, hybrids, and carbon-neutral fuels.
Suzuki wants to halve the development time of new models by 2030. It is one of the points of its technological strategy for the next decade, presented at the end of September.
Suzuki has presented its Technology Strategy 2026, a roadmap with which the Japanese company defines how its vehicles will evolve over the next 10 years. New hybrid systems, direct injection turbo engines, lighter cars and real-purpose electric batteries are part of a plan with which the brand seeks to reduce energy consumption and adapt each technology to the needs of each market.
