The two defendants stole money and medicines worth a thousand euros from a pharmacy in Salvaterra de Magos. Both have criminal records having served "long-term prison sentences".
The Judicial Police (PJ) detained two men, aged 25 and 36, suspected of aggravated robbery and kidnapping in a pharmacy in Muge, in the municipality of Salvaterra de Magos, on 31 August.
Suspects will have entered a pharmacy with a firearm, "forced an employee to deliver money and medicines worth more than a thousand euros".
Suspects of assaulting the pharmacy in Salvaterra de Magos were arrested, had a criminal record and had recently been released from prison.
Two men, aged 25 and 36, were intercepted by the GNR after the crime in Muge, Salvaterra de Magos.
