With a march, a floral offering, and chants, the Sandinista community of Matiguás paid tribute to the Heroes of San José de las Mulas. “Today we commemorate the 43rd anniversary of the passing into immortality of 23 young members of the Sandinista Youth who left the comforts of their homes to come to these lands,” said Marcos López Tablada, departmental coordinator of the Sandinista Youth 19th of July in Matagalpa.
