Contrary to what companies are telling shareholders and the media, a spokesperson speaking on behalf of both the provincial Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Department of Energy told the Examiner that while a company holds mineral exploration licences for natural hydrogen in Cumberland County, “no permits have been issued for drilling to 2,500 metres to explore for hydrogen.”
