Adrian Vètea's government fell because it did not meet the required number of votes. Of the 233 votes required, Vètea managed to convince only 207 parliamentarians to express their option in the full assembly of Parliament.

The Veștea Government was rejected by Parliament. Out of the total of 464 senators and deputies, 287 were present. 212 votes were cast, 0 null votes, only 189 votes for, 23 votes against.
