On August 24, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced a new business strategy called "Horizon 25." While this means the controversial "TSA Gold+" plan is withdrawn and discontinued, the goal of further expanding the use of private security contractors remains unchanged. "Horizon 25" also aims to enhance the "TSA PreCheck" pre-screening system and support the rapid adoption of next-generation technologies.
