Netflix added new cast members and first-look images for the eight-episode drama, which follows a grieving wife guiding a hockey team after tragedy.
On Monday, Netflix revealed the official title of its upcoming hockey drama as The Sticks, announcing Scott Bakula, Logan Marshall-Green, and Alex MacIsaac as series regulars alongside Michelle Monaghan as Harper Sullivan.
Created by Nick Naveda and showrunner Bridget Bedard for 21 Laps, the eight-episode series follows a grieving woman in South Dorothy, Minnesota, who coaches a found family of young athletes after a local tragedy.
Netflix also confirmed 10 recurring cast members, including Bryan Greenberg as Cliff Barnes and Patrick Gallagher as Principal Montgomery, alongside Emilie Bierre as Riley Sullivan and Shai Chase as Henry Sullivan.
With production recently completed, the streamer has not announced an official premiere date, though the series is expected to arrive in 2027.
The drama joins a growing wave of hockey-themed television, positioning itself alongside projects like Heated Rivalry and Off Campus in the competitive sports-focused streaming landscape.
