A judge in Moscow ruled Tuesday that Vadim Moshkovich, the billionaire founder of the agriculture giant Rusagro, must transfer his stake in the company to the state as he stands trial.

On Tuesday, the Hamovny Court of Moscow granted the request to transfer to the State more than half of the shares of the Rusagro Group in a lawsuit against the founder of the company, the former senator of the Belgorod region, Vadim Mošković, the ex-head of the company, Maxim Basov, and other co-defendants. 100 per cent of the shares of Rusgro were arrested by court order.
